DESCRIPTION:Field Walking Training \nFREE \nA training session will take place at Coalhouse Fort at 10am on Monday 16 September so that participants can learn about archaeological artefacts expected to be found on a field walk\, what to record and information about the site they will be walking. \nLocal community will have the opportunity to scan and survey a local scheduled monument crop mark site in Orsett for archaeological evidence on Friday 20 September at 10am. \nNeed to attend training session to then attend the walk. \nThis event is being run by MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology) in partnership with the Land of the Fanns \nIf you are interested please contact deborah.brady@thameschase.org.uk \n
