DESCRIPTION:This training session has been organised for voluntary groups in Havering\, Thurrock\, Brentwood and Barking & Dagenham with an environmental or heritage focus. \nThis course looks at the foundations that are important to have in place before a group begins to take on volunteers: \nVolunteer Policy \nVolunteer Expense policy \nProblem Solving \nGrievance & Disciplinary Procedures \nRisk Assessment \nAvoiding Legal Pitfalls \nDBS checks\, Do we need them? \nEvaluating Impact of Volunteering \nPart 2 of this training takes place on Friday 19 March.  You must attend both sessions to complete the training. \nThis training takes place as part of Land of the Fanns Landscape Champions of Tomorrow.
