SUMMARY:Thames Chase Guided Walk to Dagnam Park
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a guided walk to discover the human and natural history of Dagnam Park (The Manor)\, particularly the bluebells in the woodlands. This walk is ideal for anyone interested in learning more about the environment of the area\, especially the former Dagnam and Gooshays Estates as well as local wildlife. \nMeet at 10:00am in the car park in Central Park\, Petersfield Avenue\, Harold Hill. We will follow a circular route of 2.5km\, starting and finishing at the car park in Central Park. The walk goes northerly through the park\, then Hatters Wood and Dagnam Park\, returning south via a different route through Hatters Wood and Central Park. \nMuch of the woodland route will be muddy after recent rainfall and suitable footwear is recommended. \nDate: Friday 27th April 2018\nTime: 10:00am – 12:30pm\nCost: £3 donation \nIn partnership with the Friends of Dagnam Park: http://www.friendsofdagnampark.org.uk \nRaising funds for Thames Chase Community Forest (charity no. 1115627) \n
