SUMMARY:Thames Chase Guided Walk to Davy Down
DESCRIPTION: \nJoin us for the Thames Chase guided walk around Davy Down\, Mardyke Woods and North Stifford. \nThe walk is around 4 miles and should take around 2 – 2.5 hours including a look around the Stifford water pumping station. \nDuring the walk we will see some interesting metal sculptures and hear about some of the extensive work carried out by the Thames Chase Conservation Volunteers. Most of the walk is on flat surfaced paths but the Mardyke Wood section can be uneven and muddy after heavy rain. \nMeet at Davy Down car park off Pilgrims Lane for 10:00 start. The start is easily accessible via the 370 Romford to Lakeside bus alighting at the Davy Down bus stop. \nDate Friday 25th May 2018\nTime 10:00am – 12:30pm\nPrice £3 donation\nLocation Davy Down car park \nRaising funds for Thames Chase Community Forest (charity no. 1115627) \n
