SUMMARY:Thames Chase Guided Walk to Dagnam Park
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a guided walk to discover the human and natural history of Dagnam Park (The Manor)\, particularly the bluebells in the woodlands. This walk is ideal for anyone interested in learning more about the environment of the area\, especially the former Dagnam and Gooshays Estates as well as local wildlife. \nMeet at 10:00am in the car park in Central Park\, Petersfield Avenue\, Harold Hill. We will follow a circular route of 2.5km\, starting and finishing at the car park in Central Park. The walk goes northerly through the park\, then Hatters Wood and Dagnam Park\, returning south via a different route through Hatters Wood and Central Park. \nMuch of the woodland route will be muddy after recent rainfall and suitable footwear is recommended. \nDate: Friday 27th April 2018\nTime: 10:00am – 12:30pm\nCost: £3 donation \nIn partnership with the Friends of Dagnam Park: http://www.friendsofdagnampark.org.uk \nRaising funds for Thames Chase Community Forest (charity no. 1115627)

SUMMARY:Thames Chase Guided Walk to Parklands via Cranham Marshes
DESCRIPTION:This circular walk to Parklands from the Visitor Centre via All Saints Church and Cranham Marshes is around 5 miles and will take around 2.5-3 hours. \nParklands is a beautiful open space on the borders of Upminster and Corbets Tey and is renowned for its recently renovated 18th century bridge\, its fishing lake bordered by weeping crack willows and some rare specimen trees. \nWalkers unable to manage the full walk are welcome to join the walk at the Corbets Tey Road entrance to Parklands at 11.00 am. \nDate: Friday 30th March 2018\nTime: Start 10.00 from Thames Chase Visitor Centre.\nCost: £3 donation

This Essex Wildlife Trust reserve is a haven for wildlife and at this time of year the snowdrops and other spring bulbs are spectacular. \nMeet at 10:00 am in the car park at Warley Place beside the Thatchers Arms. \nEssex Wildlife Trust volunteers will guide us around the site\, so it is important to have an indication in advance of the number of walkers.
