Recipes can tell a story

The creativity in this piece is phenomenal, the fruits have been designed by Havering college – my two sons attended Havering college.
My two sons played instruments at the Saturday music school.
My husband has three food businesses in Havering.
I have lived in Havering for 18 years.
I was inspired by my love of food and also the idea of one person creating the recipe Elizabeth Rafeld (1768) and this was recreated by Denney (1968).
I was born in 1967
It was amazing to see the different fruits in the bowl,  on display on the wooden table, sitting next to each other.
Oranges
Pears
Apples
Some fruits I can identify, some I cannot but it brings out the love between fruits and if one fruit is rotten it will affect the rest.
So, we have to maintain the love as we are all connected.
My connection to Havering is through my love of food, my husband’s food businesses, my sons schooling in Havering and most importantly my love of poetry
