Introduction to Community-based Natural Flood Management – online training

Thames21 have been installing Natural Flood Management (NFM) features in four areas around London, Enfield, Harrow, Hillingdon and Havering. These innovative NFM projects are designed to reduce flood risk downstream and is also contributing to national flood management data.

This training will introduce local people to how Natural Flood Management works and how they can get involved with monitoring and maintaining NFM features at these different sites.
If you are curious about NFM and would like to get involved with other local residents in supporting this project we encourage you to join us for both an online and practical session.
Please note: practical sessions will be planned once we are able to run outdoor public events again.
